It’s that time of year again, and for the third time, which makes me feel antique in Blogging terms, I wish one and all a very warm and lovely Christmas, and New Year.
I have been fortunate to have made some good friends through Blogging, some of whom have joined me on other social media platforms, because we are all, my friends and I, pretty good at all that electronic hashtaging, ‘Liking’ and commentating stuff.
Its been lovely to send another year in your company, and to meet many new Bloggers on the way. May the force be with you, and the turkey dazzling in its taste bud magnificance
Countingducks, alias Peter
All I want for Christmas is a few more ‘Likes’ on that FB highlighted opposite: I find them cheering. Thanks to all who do !
Happy Christmas to you too Peter – your thoughts on life have certainly made me smile a lot this past year and made me ponder life in general. 🙂

As I said to another chum, they really should include a duck among their little faces/ We want equality for all species on this Blog, except for that fly who I wrote about recently, and who has now sprung out of these pages to make my life difficult. Very best to you as well

🙂 They don’t seem to do little duck faces, which is clearly a design oversight. I hope the wizard of wordpress resolves that oversight before next year.

I hate Xmas, Peter, but my daughter is happy and I have a well stocked cellar: I will survive comfortably and quietly alone in my lair until it’s over. Wish you a nice winter holiday also. Cheers.

Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year to you Peter. Thank you for your continued support and always positive words of encouragement. It is just over a year ago that you wrote a post about this poor woman living in dreadful conditions and I was so touched. Today I sit in front of my fireplace, looking at my Christmas tree, at the lake just outside my door and know I am so blessed. I person doesn’t get through trying times like that alone, there were days that the only thing that got me through were the people like you who kept encouraging me. Thank you for that.
My time is limited but whenever I pop in for a read, you put a big smile on my face, I will never think of eggs the same. haha
hugs
