Technical Update Victory and a Book

If you look to the right hands side of this post, you will see a button connecting this site to my FB page, created, in part, to talk about my book which is called. “Living Life Backwards”. Regarding the title, as you get a bit older, it does seem like quite a nifty idea to rewind a few years and see if you can iron out some of those errors you keep blaming everyone else for, and to have another go at the same events, but not put on so much weight this time.

Anyway, none of that has anything to do with the book, but that FB page will do that for me, and it would cheer me up if some of my chums ‘ Like’ it and drift over there. Among the delights on offer are a photograph taken from the chair I write in, and from it you might get a sense of where the name ‘Countingducks ‘came from. None of my friends are in it, because they are camera shy, but they might wander in at some time in the future.

I might talk a bit about the plot, the characters, or anything else which takes my fancy and doesn’t take a whole post to talk about. Come to think about it, that’s about everything you  talk about.  If you click on that little button, whose existence is there partly through the technical help of a very nice Blogger called ‘Aurora Morealist’. ( thank you for that  ), whose Blog is on my Blogroll,  I will be truly able to say “See you on the other side” and what could be nicer than that.

Welcome to the social network Facebook. I have been off and on it a few times over the years. Not doing too much with it at the time but will send you a request forthwith. Most of us don’t have lives of our own so it will be nice to have a distinguished, vibrant, and accomplished friend to add to our friend role!

  11. Enjoyed this post, as I’m enjoying getting to know you as a fellow PDMI author, friend, and mentor in the vast maze of book marketing. Your insights are continually valuable, your perspective refreshing, and, as Victoria Adams indicated when she first pointed out your blog to me somewhere around an eternity ago now, your command of language is lyrical and incisive. Good to know you, Peter–and congrats on the impending publication.
